Environmental Management System (EMS)

We are ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System (EMS) certified company. We have adopted EMS framework which help us manage our environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner to achieve the intended out comes.

Protection of the environment

Our production effluent is treated chemically and biologically in the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) before discharged to the public drain.

We maintain air quality standards by utilizing an Air Pollution Control System (Dust Collector), effectively minimizing total particulate matter emissions and ensuring compliance with environmental and local law regulations.

Compliance Obligations

We are 100% committed to comply with the legal and regulatory requirements of the Malaysia Department of Environment (DOE) and other regulators and authorities.

Waste Management

Our scheduled waste is managed in accordance with the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005, starting from its generation, handling, storage, transportation and disposal.

Our rubber waste is handled by government-certified contractor for purpose of recycling rather than disposed of in secured landfill as scheduled waste.

Sustainability & Renewable Energy

PLP installs solar power to leverage renewable energy, reducing operational costs, enhancing energy efficiency, and minimizing environmental impact. This transition enables long-term savings, energy independence and compliance with government regulations on sustainability.

Our 520.300 kWp rooftop solar PV system is installed on warehouses and factories, utilizing expansive, unobstructed areas with ample sunlight for optimal performance.

Provide training to familiarize and continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system and quality policy.

Strive for continual improvement in practical new technologies and process performance towards meeting quality objectives which are to be reviewed for continuing suitability.

Build customer satisfaction in fulfilling customer contractual requirements for quality.
